Overiew
Manzushir Monastery, located on the southern slope of the Bogd Khan Mountain, just 45 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar, is a captivating destination with a rich history. Established in 1773 to honor the Bodhisattva Manzushir, it sits in a serene pine-covered valley at 1800 meters altitude, offering a picturesque and tranquil setting. Despite suffering during the Soviet Era and the communist purge in 1937, the partially restored main temple still stands today. The area also serves as a starting point for hiking to the peak of Bogd Khan Mountain and features a small natural museum created by locals, making it an excellent spot for trekking and spiritual retreats. 09:00 Your adventure begins with a ride to the Zuunmod city of Tuv province.
10:30 We will visit Zuunmod town, and it’s a local museum
11:00 We will visit the Tsogchin temple, a natural museum created by locals, and the two-tonne enormous bronze cauldron that the monks once used to cook up great feasts for their guests. Enjoy hiking, taking photos, and exploring around sightseeing

13:00 Lunch at a tourist camp near the Monastery and enjoy playing traditional games

Local Nomad family
15:00 Drive to nomad family to explore their daily life and tradition - Horse riding for an hour (Horse riding is not mandatory; it is only for tourists who voluntarily wish to ride. Before riding, participants must sign an indemnity agreement and listen carefully to our tour guide's guidelines.)
Ulaanbaatar city
17:30 - Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city and escort you to the hotel
